Murder and Mayhem
We have seen 2 murders in the last few days, one covered throughly by the media (although biased) the other virtually ignored. The left wingers are up in arms over the murder of abortionist Dr. George Tiller at his church this last Sunday. First let me say that no one of any moral character condones the murder of anyone, having said this, the media cannot see how the choices of Dr. Tiller may have contributed to his murder. This is not to excuse the killer at all but Dr. Tiller had performed they estimate some 60,000 abortions. The media zealots are all over Bill O'Reilly because he reported on them. So, I guess if someone kills a right to life protester in the next few days we can blame them I suppose.
Now for the murder they covered up, and it appears that possibly they where following the wishes of the White House, and failed to report the murder of an Army Private helping at the recruiting office on a temporary basis by a whacked out Muslim. Why don't they cover it, he never committed the murder of 60,000 potential humans? What do we say to the private sorry dude you are not as important as this abortion doctor? Our we afraid to offend the Muslims?
On my job we had to go to diversity training (we have had one class in 2 years since it was implemented) which was given by 2 Muslim ladies. Let me say they seemed like nice people (I really didn't expect anything less), and they talked about their culture and beliefs and thats all well and good, but then they talked about "dirty looks" they received after September 11th, and that is not a good thing as I am certain they had nothing to do with it. But me and my boss talked about it later (he is a Muslim), and I said that the women where a little over sensitive about this, and he said I only said that because I had never had that happen (which is bull capital S with a hit, I was in the Marine Corps and often got those looks, in this country and others) . Anyway I told him in the big scheme of things I would rather have a million dirty looks then have to make the decision to either burn to death or jump out of a 100 plus story building. He seemed to understand that rather clearly.
Sorry got side tracked for a minute, but why doesn't the media report on a person serving their country who was gunned down by a terrorist not in Baghdad but Little Rock.
